Arena Hotel at first was constructed as an original Ottoman stone house in the 18th century. Its primary purpose was to host high-ranking Ottoman military generals called "Pashas".

After that, it has been the home of the Küçükserim family for four generations. The house has served these purposes for well over two centuries, until a fourth-generation member of the family, Ms. Gül Küçükserim, decided to transform it into a hotel, making it a source of pride for her family. Arena Hotel possesses two different styles of furnishing (Modern and Ottoman) and 40 rooms, 16 of them being suites. In Arena Hotel, there is a special touch in every room effectively making you something more than a guest. It makes you a member of this family.
